Host IP Lookup
Resolve domains to IP addresses with geolocation & network info
What is DNS?
The Domain Name System (DNS) translates human-readable domain names like google.com into IP addresses (like 142.250.185.46) that computers use to communicate. Our tool queries DNS servers to resolve domains and provides additional information about the hosting infrastructure.
IP Geolocation
IP geolocation maps IP addresses to physical locations based on the ISP's routing information. The accuracy varies but is typically within a city or region level. This data comes from public IP registries and may not reflect actual server locations due to CDNs and proxies.
Reverse DNS
Reverse DNS (PTR records) looks up the hostname associated with an IP address. Not all IPs have reverse DNS entries. This is useful for identifying mail servers and verifying server authenticity, as many email systems require matching forward and reverse DNS.
